These are my new "Bee Buddies" William & Martha from Bee Friendly Cozumel Mexico.  William rescues honey bees from local homes and businesses, while Martha is involved with rescuing and protecting the indigenous stingless honey bees - YES there's a difference between the two and both are important.

I'm planning a trip back to see them again later this year.  I want to help them keep doing what they do and things are not as easy from an economic standpoint in Mexico as it is in other parts of the world.

At the very least I'd like to take a package with me that I can fit into a large suitcase.  Items that they need are standard deep Langstroth frames, a couple hive tools, honey scraper or rollers, queen cages, etc.

My ultimate goal is to create a fund that would keep them going finnancially and even help change the laws in Mexico to protect both the indigenous and European honey bees that live in Mexico. So I'm counting on someone with more skills / experience than I have to assist me on this project.
